DIRECTIONS FROM SIMI TO LONG BEACH AND ALL THE LIFE IN BETWEEN

Part of the unpublished collection, “COUNTING THE BIRDS,” join the protagonist of Counting the Birds, Eli, in traffic on a Friday in Los Angeles. He goes from Simi Valley to Long Beach during the worst time of the day and is the quiet observer of various walks of life in between.

This is one of, if not, my personal favorite story I’ve ever written.
